Melford Road is the main road, the A131, running through Sudbury on the northern side.
Access by road:
From the north – on entering the town along the A131, the Cabin at 98 Melford Road, Sudbury is on the left-hand side, just before the three-storey cottages begin on the right-hand side, exactly opposite the gates into the water meadows.
From the south:
on leaving the town along the A131, in the direction of Long Melford and Bury St Edmunds, the Cabin Sudbury is on the right-hand side of the road, after the three-storey cottages finish on the left-hand side.
Access by rail:
A rail link serves the town, but only from the south – there is a regular service from London and also from Colchester, both requiring a change at Marks Tey.
